Recently, the 311 teu international transfer container of dayaowan third phase container terminal of dalian port group was refitted to two offshore container ships and then transferred to Japan, which is the first time that dalian port group starts the transshipment business of bulk international containers from Europe to Japan. Since this year, dalian port group has made great efforts to expand the international container transshipment business from dalian to neighboring countries, and strive to make dalian port play a more prominent role in the construction of "21st century maritime silk road". Dalian port group has taken the initiative to cooperate with CSCL, and, relying on the highly competitive business fee collection policy, has "tailored" the operation plan of international transshipment business for CSCL, and promised to reduce the time of international transshipment ships in port to 2 days. In order to fulfill the promise of international transshipment business "arriving at the port on Friday and transferring on Sunday" proposed by dalian port group, dayaowan customs can handle the clearance and release formalities "immediately upon arrival" for the shipping companies with accurate and complete procedures. The business handling time is reduced from 2 working days to half a working day. Dayaowan customs also has contingency plan for the emergency that may occur in the international transit business during customs clearance. With the improvement of communication and coordination mechanism between the two parties and the improvement of customs clearance efficiency, more and more shipping companies have begun to "transfer" international transshipment business to dalian port. It is predicted that the transshipment business of bulk international containers at dalian port can bring about an increase of nearly 10,000 teu per year for the container handling at dalian port in the short term.
