Basic principles of container storage
1. 20-foot containers cannot be stacked on top of 40-foot and 45-foot containers.
2. Heavy containers and empty containers shall be stacked separately.
3. Import boxes, export boxes and transit boxes shall be stacked in separate areas.
4. Ordinary boxes, refrigerated boxes and dangerous goods boxes shall be stacked in separate areas.
5. The stacking height of heavy boxes shall be calculated and pushed out according to the rated load of the yard, and the total weight of boxes on the same box position shall not exceed the rated load.
6. Import and export heavy boxes should be stacked as far as possible according to the name of the ship, the number of bills of lading, etc.
7. In addition to stacking heavy containers according to the name of the ship, the weight and the port of destination should also be considered.
8. Empty containers shall be stacked according to different types of containers belonging to different companies, and intact containers and defaced containers shall be stacked separately.
9. Centralized stacking of containers of the same shipping company; centralized stacking of containers of the same planned task; centralized stacking of containers of the same box type; centralized stacking of containers of the same height.
Stacking principle of special boxes
1. Reefer
1) It is generally stacked in a special refrigerator yard equipped with special power equipment.
2) Electrical equipment is usually set up in 40-foot containers, each unit can be stacked in a row of 40-foot reefers or two rows of 20-foot reefers, generally stacked in two layers.
3) When stacking two rows of 20-foot reefers, the back-to-back method should be adopted to facilitate the use of electrical equipment in the field.
2. Dangerous goods box
Generally, it is equipped in the dangerous goods box area equipped with spray device, which is stacked in isolation according to the dangerous goods grade, and can only be stacked on one layer, and it is ensured that all dangerous goods boxes can use spray equipment.
3. Ultra-high, ultra-wide and other large containers
Generally only one layer can be stacked.
